#25 Jake Stringer (Part 1)

It’s the grass that makes him look that big.

Needs to shed 3-4kg if he wants to play mid.

Irving is so big he needs two threads.

It can be both.

Stringers in worse shape than when he came to the dons.

Obviously will start training again soon but thought he had a good launching pad for 2020 off the back of a strong 2019

Why singular? Cue Heather Mills.

Bit left of field.

Couldn’t be more complimentary of the addition of Murphy as head of fitness/high performance from Hawthorn and the impact he’s had on the playing group. Described the pre-season as one of the hardest he’s done and has registered significant personal bests in baseline fitness testing.

Significant work on his forward craft, midfield work will come closer to games.

Borderline flying…

Tim: "How are you going physically?"

Jake Stringer: "I'm borderline flying at the minute."

I propose that we change Jakes thread title to:

#25 Jake “I’m borderline flying” Stringer

This is very very encouraging.

Jake was the one (only) guy who came to play from round 1 last season, so I hope he can carry that into 2020 by being super fit and injury free. And hopefully his team mates are going to be there as well from the start. Jake, Walla, Orazio on song can cause a heap of troubles with their flair and x-factor. Need another of the talls to help Jake out.
