Only good for us if we get someone decent in return. Unlikely.
He still kicked 42 goals and so many points. Can win the ball and kick a goal. Apart from Langford no else we can rely on. Hope he stays.

I get the feeling Stringer is going to be left with zero suitors and a single option of signing a $400k contract for 1 year. Every team nominated in the press are pretty quick to come out and definitively state they aren’t interested. They aren’t even non-committal, they are adamant that they won’t touch him.
Would there be a scenario that we don’t even execute the extension and let him go? Is he more destabilising than fans appreciate?
He already has the contract with Essendon and it is more than $400k. He wanted more years.
