#25 Jake Stringer (Part 1)

As a ruckman he didn’t have much trouble against their second spud.

He’s such a team player.

I love it!

Loved the raised arm straight after the ball left his boot. Knew exactly where he put it.

why on earth is he in the ruck?

but more importantly

how is he winning taps?

Good to see that classic 50 metre out running jakey stringer special, was never going anywhere but through the sticks

He’s very, very versatile. Provides a wide range of roles for us.

Can also still be very useful when not 100%.

So, Stringer back then?

Well if he can ruck, then I’m sure he can ‘back.’

Jake Stringer the “utility”. No, that’s crazy. Or, is it…

Really looks like he’s carrying an injury; hope the fitness staff know what they’re doing and he doesn’t exacerbate it.

Destination club.

I think hes one of those blokes that will always look unfit, but turn it on when he needsto.

Really liked how he lowered his eyes and hit up targets inside 50. Resulted in a few marks inside 50 and scoring opportunities. When others were blazing away and putting it to advantage of Aliir.
His goal from 50 was great too and at a important time as swans were coming.
He was very solid in the ruck. Creating a contest especially after the tap.

Looked like calf was troubling him, but stayed out there and soldiered on. Team first.

Played a good game for how incredibly unfit he looked

He did look like they just woke him on a park bench after a weekend bender and then he come in smash ■■■■■■ all night. Like a 90’s Bruce Willis movie.

Also I did love how he could barely walk in the first half but then slot that goal and starts jumping around like a mad man.
