I feel we need a bit more like breaking ability behind the ball, of which SEH and Shiel will offer a bit more in that regard.
Roberts has plenty of time but I dare say the coaches would be asking more of him defensively, as they would for most people that age. I’ll be interested to see if he’s in the mix round 1.

Got some depth down back which is pleasing. And the depth is talented.
Basically played the Jake Kelly role without being a liability by foot. Very good role player, as a DFA signing he’s exactly what you want.

Just saw that he’s only 23, so same age as Durham Perkins Cox Reid & Bryan. Hopefully lots of improvement to come.
You know what’s nice? Picking up a guy that can KICK. Good skills first and foremost, athletic profile comes after that. He’s the type of player the Hawks value. Keep shovelling these types onto the list and build some depth.
He was very good. Head over the ball; decent skills. This is blue collar and we have Archie Roberts who is doing a pretty good impression of this too.
