No, I don’t think he cops it unfairly.
Arguably others cop it disproportionately to what they deserve, but looking across threads there aren’t many missing out on a serve this week.
I think recent comments are an indictment, he is a “try hard” without the talent or ability to garner anything other than derision.
At best he is that wannabe tough guy, that you stop, look at, then crack up laughing, because he is so far off it, you know it’s kind of embarrassing.
When a guy like him deserves to stay in the team, you know the bank balance is tapped out.

But kudos to him for trying.

he can crack in all he wants he is not good enough to play on the wing, can have him at HB but not the wing.. skillful players play on wings, not spuds who can give some effort

I find it hard to blame Prior much, because he doesn’t select himself. Effort is not an issue with him, he’s just quite clearly not a good enough footballer for the AFL. A complete indictment the coach and club disagree.

He’s a plodder, wouldn’t get a game at any other club. Under Scott he’s ingrained in the club because there are a 1000 other probems.

It makes sense because he’s one of the least essingtoned players out there.

Caldwell & Durham both having 5 disposals each is the real indictment.

He was good today. Will never be great but played his best game in the sash for sure. I hope he’s not actually injured
