Imagine just how much Sheeds would have loved Dermie if he had played for us.
He’d have so much respect for those Hawthorn boys no matter how much he wanted to smash them. They were also an incredible team

Generally speaking you cant hate people just because they play for a different footy club. These are just blokes that happened to sign on to a different team. In the case of Dermie, he is a 60 year old man now. I suspect he has mellowed a lot in the 30 years since he played footy. But I guess it spices up life a bit to laugh about old rivalries. In the overall scheme of things those rivalries do not amount to much in the context of ones life. Rivalry is OK, its just a bit of negative energy, when positive energy is better for us all.
