#26 Cale "Thank You Mr" Hooker - rejects a brown paper bag from FCFC

I’d rather he stay 45-55 mtrs out from goal, he’s more accurate from that distance than 20 out.

How would he do his freight train run up tho?

Stand on the spot yelling ‘Choo Choo’ then kick off one step?

In the cheer squad?

Crow suggesting bone bruising in his leg. Better than pinging a calf… if in fact he hasn’t pinged a calf… long way from convinced he’ll play.

sounds like the classic career ending ‘knock to insert part of a limb

Keeping things very close to the chest…understandably.

Let’s see.
Essendon kicked 16 goals without him.
Freo kicked 14 goals without him.

No.

You don’t think that’s more about Hurley than hooker?

Good point.
Different players though.
I know people think they play the same role in defence, but they really don’t.
I’m not against Hooker playing forward. At all.
I’m just for him playing solid minutes back.
Sometimes.

I think Hurley working with Hartley and Ambrose would have made a massive difference Sunday because he would have been able to intercept heaps of their inside 50s and work the ball out better than we were, whereas I think hooker is good to take a 1 on 1 and win that convincingly

all the panic dollars thanks

RIP Chook

Bone bruising. Fark!

Hope this isn’t hotspot related for a possible stress fracture.

Hurley is 100% playing. Woosha and hurls have both said that

Raz 50/50 but they will roll the dice, no doubt

Hooker who knows. Perhaps their foxing and trying to make Sydney guess

Apparently on the podcast Hard Tag, Hooker speaks about the injury. We should know more about it today.

We need him in…

The AFL website has said that Hooker didn’t have a calf injury. He has bone bruising. Club aren’t sure if he’ll be available.

Big forward Cale Hooker suffering from ‘unpredictable’ bone bruising

which is pretty much what I said an hour ago.

Bone bruising can take for ever to come good.
