Spike Milligan’s tombstone.

It’s a cheap rip-off copy, I suspect.
It’s a classic case of people ā€œdying to be just like Spike.ā€

Isn’t Spike’s tombstone written in Gaelic?

I just checked @Captain_Jack

Yep, it appears so… Sort of

Anyways, back to Duursma.
Hopefully, he hasn’t shuffled off this mortal coil, and some minor, trifling injury news is forthcoming.

You know, that 10+ weeks or season ending injury type of news we normally get.

This bloke just keeps on keeping on.
Another good game.

Absolutely amazing pickup

I ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  love this guy, nothing like what I expected. Loopy kicks aside, what a great addition to the team. Win/win trade me thinks.

Yea but does Chris Drain approve?

Haha, at least he was there when they drafted him.
Might actually have had some sort of insight

His gut running is elite. Is his brother any good?

Yes he is.

Merrett and Durham would be up there but If there is a prototype of what Essendon Edge is supposed to be it’s this guy. Puts his body on the line time after time and runs harder than just about anyone. And can kick a goal when needed as well!

His last 5 minutes tonight when the game was on the line was amazing.

I was a big Zerk fan but the swap / trade for this guy (given what he brings to the team) was a steal.

Can you imagine his parents going from enjoying Essendon winning infront of 50,000-70,000+ on Friday/Saturday then watching their younger son’s team get smashed infront of 15,000 people on Sunday afternoon?

Surely Zane doesn’t last long at North before he’s requesting trades to bigger clubs.

Starting to become a theme.

He’s a proper footballer.

I was wrapped that we got him

He has more than one brother and they are all good. The next one will be drafted next year.
