Nah that was never the knock on him. They knew he was fearless and he was a fan favourite. He was just injury prone and they felt it always took him a few weeks to find form.

He’s a good player.
To be honest, a better player than what I thought he was at Port.
Clearly I wasn’t paying enough attention to his running power and work rate.

Port supporters were far more worried about him going in too hard and hurting himself.
Was always as brave as they come.
