I’ve been watching a few late season replays over the last week. I reckon this guy’s contribution went a little under the radar at times. The quicker the pace and that hotter the contest the more his clean hands and quick decision making stand out.
I suspect he might not consistently produce huge numbers due to his place in the midfield pecking order this year but he will consistently make a valuable contribution all over the ground and have an impact in the middle When he gets his chances.
He’s a class above most ‘b’ team mids and it will be a luxury to throw him in against bench warmers.

To be clear he’s probably good enough to be first rotation but he has some pretty serious and more mature names ahead of him. Darcy’s time will come, for now we’re spoilt with talent.
