I would say that the club would have offered 2,3 or even 4 years. Parish is backing himself to improve more and demand more $$. It’s risky but good on him.
It didn’t shock me and others he was left out round 1 based off pre-season form, but I would say the way he has developed in the rounds since has made him the most important of that young group to lock away.
