For the full context. He said he’ll be at Essendon next year because there’s no interest and speculated that Tasmania might be interested end of next year. He did finish it by saying "let’s see how next year goes”. I think he was speculating rather than reporting news.

Their 1st 3rd rounder. Parish is literally 3 years past being a remotely good player, is 29 & missed more games than he’s played over the last 3 seasons. He has very very low value to anyone unless they are in a position to take a 50/50 gamble that he might get fit & be a slightly above average extractor with poor disposal. IF Tassie were starting next year he could be a target for them to have some experience in the middle but most teams already have better mids in their team or coming through. I don’t think he’s shown a flexibility where he could replace what Sidebottom was doing for Collingwood for example.

Parish gone, bit of cap for 2 years and a middle first rounder.
Well if we cannot give him away, he might be handy depth. If he is not injured when we need him. Trouble is he does not seem to be able to get into form in less than the time it takes for him to break down again.
