A winger?

LOL…
As if we’d have the patience to wait 7 years…
He’ll be branded a failure and a bust by the 4th year if he follows the Curnow path.

He probably would have been a good forward if his wrists didn’t go bad, turned his out forward marking hands into concrete. For the great player Hurley was, he actually could have been better had injuries not limited him so much.

or the mighty cupido, started like a house on fire with a bag of 5 IIRC.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Wright will play a big part in next years forward line. Will take the main defender to let the likes of Caddy and Langers go to work. This is all dependent on some drastic improvement in ball movement. Llyod would have struggled kicking goals with the delivery this year.

Cupidollllll my boy!! Hey @Mendozaaaa ?:rofl: Where is John G and his Arsenal scarf at these days?

To then getting the ass from his coaching gig for being a thief

How the mighty have fallen.

Farking Cupido what a ā– ā– ā– ā–  trade for losing Caracella

I don’t think the talls are the real issue in the forward line. It’s the real lack of a Tippa style X factor small forward.

Both Langford and Stringer kicked over 40 goals. Not a bad return. Just didn’t seem to be any small at their feet to put fear into the opposition backline.

Imagine having a fit and firing Tippa in one pocket and Darren Bewick in the other?

Langford, Caddy will do. Langford as the third, kicked 40 in a bad year where he was likely injured.

Cox and Jones could surprise everyone as forwards, though I’m not holding my breath.

We need a genuine gorilla FF who can chop out in the ruck and isn’t scared of his own shadow. A protector and a thug.

I think the player for that caper,
Sounds a bit like big Draper.

I’d rather a genuine forward who makes reliable decisions and can convert from 15m

3 tall forwards.
You need 1 contested mark pack crasher, 1 lead up accurate goal kicker and 1 x factor bit of both, which is Caddy.
Both Langford and Wright are the lead ups who don’t crash packs or contested mark , so we only need 1 of them.
Take your pick, we can’t have both in the 22.

Now we just need one that can kick straight
