He’s kicked 23 goals in 11 games this season. On pace to clear 40 which is very good returns for a 21 year old, third year key forward
In a ■■■■ team. It wouldn’t be easy.
100% this. He’s so athletic, he should be CHF. Any good club would be developing him into that.
Is he closer yet ?
I know this is a forum where debate and dialogue is open to all but the last few comments/takes you & darkknightphoenix have made are about as shithouse as it gets on this forum.
Unreal dribble
Wow, saying a player needs to chase and tackle after saying I saw a soft effort is as bad as it gets. Ok I’ll take that on board.
By the way I’m only in the Caddy thread because he’s one of the few players that’s still interesting to watch. I’m not sure why I’m not allowed to criticise him, I’m sure if you go back in this thread I’ve praised him at times as well.
with Hird coach, Lloyd is decent chance to help Caddy next year.
Jay Clark stating that Caddy has put contract talks on hold. He has a million dollar per year contract extension in front of him from Essendon.
On hold pending the decision on the new coach, I think?
Yep
Would sign a long term deal if Hird is appointed
We might have no choice but to appoint Hird if that’s the case
if that would get him to sign then absolutely you bring in Hird imo.
We can’t lose Caddy and if we did I would struggle to watch footy anymore.
Enough is enough for me.
LOL
Seeya
We don’t sign any coach to simply placate the playing group (or members thereof).
We’ve had enough tail wagging the dog.
We know how this ends.
Bye bye
I’d say club will leverage his decision to re-sign on a big contract as part of launching the new coach.
“His first big move was to convince Caddy of the direction of the club and he’s done that- big tick ” yadyada
All optics and theatre for Welshies charm offensive.
He’s contracted for another 2 years, he won’t be going anywhere until then.
Source?
I don’t think any player would sign a long-term extension until they knew who the new coach was. Shows how important is that we nail the next appointment. If we do, I have little doubt that Nate will want to stay.
