Dermy vibes and I like it……
What is Caddy’s 1 wood?
I’m really liking this selection. A powerfully built player who hits the contest hard, takes the game on and addresses a list deficiency. He may be short for a key forward, but he looks like he could tie his shoelaces without bending over.
we have been crying out for key forwards.
lets hope Scott gives hin a chance.
Could be anything at this stage
He’s 4cm taller than Stewart Crameri - reckon he’ll play similar but be stronger overhead.
Surprised no one has mentioned that apart from attitude and long arms, the boy has seriously big hands. Stewart Loewe like, ( who by the way, was 194cm/ 6ft 4). If he catches the ball, it stays caught.
Caddyshack! He’s got a bit of Charlie Curnow about those highlights, very exciting
I think his time at Carlton watching how Curnow goes about it can only be a good thing.
Geelong only had pick 8 and 25 that they would use, but they need an injection of youth. It may be that having 3 picks was more valuable to them than covering a forward role. I daresay if Cal said they were planning to take Caddy, that there was some substance to that, but we offered something they needed more.
I’m telling ya if there is an article between now and Feb saying this kid is away from main training due to a back concern I’ll spew up
Caddy. Wright. Gresham
Stringer. Jones. Langford
Jakey is living an AFL lifestyle this off season
He was listed at 191 last year. Could well grow a few more cms.
Nevertheless, I don’t think his height is any concern. 193 cms with long arms is absolutely fine.
Is there a link to his interview from the afl coverage?
I’m very happy with this selection. We traded up to get the best available player who also fits a list need for us.
Now I hope the club make the decision to develop him as a CHF. Please none of this Stringer stuff until he’s got that part of his game tucked under his arm!
This pick up is going to be great for Harry Jones and his motivation.
Over Armer
and he’s very keen to get into it and get started with the training
be interesting to see how close he’d be for a round 1 game
It’s a Cinderella story
good to see Ridley, McGrath and Tsatas get around him last night.
Not at Essendon
