Obviously concerns on our kpd position with Lav injured and unable to place any reliance on Reid or Cox presently when they’d have been expected to be playing this year. Plus Stewart continuing to have issues, he’d have been the one ordinarily getting the call up as required

He had major back issues before Blues delisted him. Apparently now over after surgery.
Certainly good 1v1 defender.
We should be scanning the VFL for an in form tall defender circa 24-25, in the 197-198cm range fast and strong with a big body.
the point being reid isn’t replacing lav this year, you put him in and he would get broken in half by hawkins laughing his ass off at the match up, let alone if he survives that and plays on him.
in the furture when he puts on (or IF he puts on ) about 10 plus kg’s then he can take over from lav. he sure as ■■■■ ain’t doing it this year, hence it’s pointless thinking he will be taking the lav role this year.
baldwin has a better chance, but as the article suggests, i guess they are going to look at local leagues and recently delisted heavier backman to fill the gap.

I don’t think he’s a good choice.
But it’s slim pickings for defenders if we think it’s a need.
Sydney need them badly and are after him (if the article is to be believed).
I guess the Sydney list manager isn’t as good as Blitz makes them out to be…
