I just feel like its a huge slap in the face to all the boys in the VFL who have been performing and not been picked.
Voss I would imagine would be feeling particulary annoyed.
Its not like Zach has runs on the board either, he hasnt shown much at all as of yet (no fault of his own).
Here’s hoping he stays injury free from here and has a long successful career, just a very strange move from the coaching staff. They must seriously rate the kid.
Considering Voss plays forward, and Reid plays in defence, l doubt that anyone is particularly annoyed.

Voss kicked bags every week and didnt get a look in.
Same situation arises for the defenders and a guy who has showed no form whatsoever in his entire career gets an instant call up.

Based on 3 quarters in the VFL first game back from a long layoff, its not surprising they did not pick him. On the other hand Hayes is apparently improving, but not yet ready.

I’ve heard Reid was dragged off in the 2’s the moment Ridley went down today. I would assume he will be named next week.
I’d really prefer Reid did all his strength and conditioning in his own time. I want the kid to be our FB for the next decade, so a few more weeks in the VFL wouldn’t hurt.
Kids going to have to play out of necessity now. Hope he is mentally ready for it.
