Letâs be honest, had no season in 2020 due to Covid, limited in 2021 and has been fully cooked for the last 2 years. Basically â â â â all development between 17-21 yo and is 205cm.
Unless the plan is to build him up to become a ruckman at 23-24, then he should have 1 more season to get him right before we cut him loose.
Sick of holding onto players for 6-7 years like Gumby, Bradley all because theyâre early busted pics. Sometimes itâs better to cut your loses

This injury setback is terrible, and I really feel for him. I certainly wouldnât be rushing to write him off.

Stress fractures in the back which have caused hamstring injuries. Thatâs going to seriously impact both his agility and ability to build core strength. Weâve seen it in other players before. Thereâs still a chance but itâs slim and he will never reach his pre injury potential
We need contingency plans if he doesnât work out. 50/50 bet at this stage.

The only thing which is obvious is his early years have been interrupted by injuries.
As far as recovery goes, the only obvious thing is that some players overcome similar injuries and have long careers and some players donât.

It farking sucks but alot of talls in recent times have had very similar injury runs and came out ok.
And just for the record, he played 19 games last year. 12 of them in the Vfl but still.
Its not like he has played absolutely no football in the last 3 years.

Once again, I said it back then and Ill repeat it for the 100th time.
I dont care what anyway says but draft picks, unless in the top 7 or so are completely overrated.
I still believe had the Dogs actually wanted to play ball and offered Dunkley for 2 of those picks, we should have done it.
He is twice as good as any combination of the 3 players we drafted so far.
Theres a reason the most successful club of the last 2 decades has barely hit the draft.
Despite this view, I still think theres a good chance Zac comes good health wise.
