2cm taller than Breece Rude!

same Height as Draper

If he can be just as good as Harris Andrews we will be laughing

I’d settle for 75% as good as Harris Andrews at this point. Looking unlikely, fingers crossed.

and this is exactly why he’s had so many injury issues.
he’s still been growing into his body and it’s not kept up with him being an AFL player.

If we presume he has (now) stopped growing realistically it could be 2-3 more years before his body properly starts playing ball.

Why we had to get Mckay.

By the time Mckays career is over Reid should be ready to fill the void

They will be playing together

Yeah sweet McKay is 25, so hopefully Reid comes good in the next 8 years.

Reid is 21 tall players usually don’t hit their peak till they are about 25/26 right?

Right now their is no spot for Reid i wouldn’t have an issue of him playing in the vfl for 4-5 years

Most players don’t peak until they are 25

Thats a hall of shame comment. Straight to the pool room

4 or 5 more years from now? No chance. He’ll either be playing AFL or off the list well before then

Part of hitting that peak is generally (i.e. almost always) playing increasingly frequent high-quality football at AFL level.

Which ideally for Zach starts in 2024.

You really think that a) Reid would be okay with sitting in the 2s for 4-5 years and that b) we don’t need him sooner? If he’s fit, he’s playing minimum 10 games next year and every game when fit following that. Pair him with McKay and Rids.

What about Geelong they have some young guys who play vfl for years before they get a shot in the seniors. Redman played about 40 vfl games before he got the call up

Rids,Mckay,Reid thats a tallish back line

How so? McKay to Hawkins, Reid to Cameron, Ridley to Rohan. Seems like the right amount to me.
