#31 Zach Reid

Off the top there’d be Parish, McGrath, Merrett, McKay, Redman, Ridley, Gresham, Caldwell, Durham, Duursma (?), Langford, Martin around the mark or more so pretty safe to say I reckon. Anyway our players seem to be giving us a fair bit of loyalty back of late so unless I jinx the ■■■■ out of it he’s staying

If we refused to give him 3 years and let him go to another club we may as well hand the keys in and close the club down.

LOL

Very good the thoroughbred has signed on. He’s a gun, just needs to stay fit. Hopefully he comes back, plays the rest of the games post bye. That would be 18 games I think for the season. Would take that.

Will be Courteny Dempsey situation again I hope. Ridiculously injury riddled early on in his career and then was relatively durable for the rest of his career (bar an ACL).

There is no way with his history he should be being paid enough to be an RFA. At least a chunk should be based on games played.

Lav was similar (albeit, the injuries killed his agility).

Congratulations zach

3 more years is most welcome news. He will be the finished article by then, and on his current trajectory will be an elite defender, with the proviso that he can stay injury free.

From another sport, i hope its a Pat Cummins type scenario.

It’ll be 3 years with quite a bit of money tied into the old “games played” caveat

It’s a no brainer.
Give an elite talent a shot for 3 years at the risk his body doesn’t hold up. Any list manager in the world would do this. Risk vs reward.

Anyone saying he should get 2 or jettisoned need a BOVRIL.
