I blame the players up the field why blokes like Mckay etc fumbled. Early in the season when we applied pressure up forward those fumbles werenât happening.

No because the pressure they donât apply the ball was living in our D50 for the second half of the year you could have Fletcher or Scarlet and they would make hand ball errors or kicks.
When our pressure was good those errors wernât happening
IMO the defenders are handballing backwards because theyâre just doing what theyre asked to by their coaches.
Itâs no coincidence that midfielders are coached that way - handball backwards to the spare with time and then dispose - and our defensive line coach is a midfielder by trade.
Unfortunately our talent down there doesnt have the same level of composure as midfielders do in tight. McGrath and Heppell are the only ones who look competent at it all year⌠and even still its just the standard dump kick from McGrathâŚ

Every mistake you make is the fault of the midfielders.
Not just the midfielders. itâs bloody hard to defend when the oppo move the ball c2c quicky under no pressure and lace out.
Was that even really happening as much this year?
And does that really mean that you lose the ability to handball?
It was especially in the second half of the year and mistakes happen
Itâs unfortunate that the ability to have clean skills under pressure is necessary to be a good footballer.

Mackay disposal under absolutely no pressure is actually shithouse. You canât pin it on pressure from the midfield. Heâs a bit of a bonehead. He looks like he wants to dispose as quick as possible at all times, and half the time he barely gets a disposal out let alone to a target. Itâs ridiculous.

The swans would have beaten us soundly today. Momentum got GwS in the end. Itâs hard having 3 fans. We would never have looked liked winning. No point comparing.
Only if the midfielders donât do their job. If they do, then defenders can have terrible disposal and it doesnât matter.

No if the back six have less pressure from the oppo then they would be able to execute better
Our skills seem to be fine if we are on top and dominating itâs when the oppo ramp up the pressure where our skills suffer
