If there is one thing our recruiting team can identify well in KPP, is ones that are elite at reading the ball in the air.
We don’t select many KPP in the draft, but when we do they usually end up very good players.

It’s all we used to draft!
Not so much now, but, come on, up until 4 - 5 years ago… It’s refreshing that we are realizing a balance is required to field a competitive football team.
Pity we didn’t have Gown back in 2000, Round 21. We would’ve won the match.
Reminds me a bit of Tim Membrey, who was also from Gippy if memory serves.
Like Membrey he’ll need to overcome his lack of speed with tireless workrate and volume running.
He seems like he is a natural forward, which is impressive for a guy who was only switched forward earlier in the year.
At the very least our VFL team is gonna have some forward structure and some much needed firepower.
Does he have a natural ark?

Nah, Membrey is undersized (189cm from memory) and has pretty average agility. Even if he isn’t lightning off the mark Gown looks like he moves much better than Membrey.
l hope he is a better set shot for goal than Membrey.
Nice set of highlights, excellent positioning and few little tricks in the marking contest. Looks an absolute natural.
The Gown has found his place and that’s with us.
Welcome to the Bombers.
Looks like a very solid kid who could become a monster.
Who could forget Sean gregory?
…Welcome the Gown to the Hanger?
Or Michael still out Andrew Lee. The record isn’t perfect obviously
Yep. Which is probably true of all talls, but Disco loves a 3rd/4th round tall. And one big win (like Hooker or TBC) easily outweighs all of those losses.
Who went on to be the 2017 vfl team of the year full back? Think we identified a talent there and weren’t patient enough.
I think Stewart should be worried with the addition of Gown. Seeing how Gown is such a good judge of the flight of the ball, quick clearances by foot from the centre bounce will seem to magically drop into his hands.
Welcome Noah ‘night’ Gown.
Jackets? No,a Gown
