Did he get injured?
He just needs to get fit. He’s got it.

Hip corky didn’t play the rest of the game
Huss hasn’t been named on the injury list. He might get a senior recall this week.
Get into my clubs forward line ■■■■
He just has to play and Scott needs to get over his aversion to playing a quick forward line
As I said in the VFL thread, I don’t think he has the fitness to do well at AFL level yet.
is he fit yet? theres a spot for him to make his own if he has got himself into AFL shape
At one stage yesterday we had 27 inside 50’s for 5 goals 4
GWS 10 inside 50’s for 5 goals
How we lacked another r small forward or 2 yesterday who could read the drop of ball put pressure on when it got to ground
Is it too optimistic to hope for a bit of a run at the end of the year or are you thinking another preseason?
You never know. Some get more runs into the legs, and get better and are more fit. Some need preseason to jump the next level.
Could they consider rotating Nguyen and Huss on 3 or 4 game stints. Unless one catches fire and their performance demands they remain in best 23.
Why would you drop Nguyen? We want more small forwards, not the same number.
Yep. I agree. It took him a while to get into the game as well. I’ve no doubts about his forward craft or his ability to get his hands on the ball when it hits the deck but he needs to build fitness for sure.
Because two 10 disposal 2 tackle no goal games is not demanding selection. Playing two low impact inexperienced small forwards is not beneficial. So getting games into both of them throughout the year would be better.
Do we have any high impact experienced small forwards ? I think not, so play Kako, Huss, Nyugen for every game.
If we’re going to replicate the Baby Bombers then we might as well tick off the Mosquito Fleet as well.
I’d be playing Huss in bursts every week, there’s a five man interchange and Scott is already misusing it, so we might as well get some benefit from it.
He’s definitely not fit enough yet, playing VFL will help along with associated training (obviously), but he’s such an instinctual player that I’d rather see him honing those instincts in bursts in AFL games.
VFL is like a different sport, you don’t want him developing tricks that simply won’t work at AFL level.
The only reason I’d keep him out based on fitness is if it looks like increasing his injury risk, or impacts his confidence.
He’s putting lots of pressure on, even if they’re not all recorded as tackles. Let him learn at AFL level.
I’d be playing huss, Nguyen and gresh ~66% TOG each. We’re playing way too tall up forward. Huss can play in 7 minutes bursts or thereabouts
Gresham is close to 29 and no longer good enough, and no improvement happening.
i want to have a look at 3 small forwards and kako is injured, no other reason for picking him I agree
