great game from Huss. Not many tackles but he used the ball really well. Nice to see him getting some runs thru the midfield as well.

Has excellent goal kicking instincts, above-average peripheral vision, clean ball-handling and good foot skills. he’s come a long way since round one.

Sure he can get fitter (he is a 1st year player) but he has shown that he can run out an AFL game just fine.

I was a bit of a skeptic , however he has really shown a hi footy IQ , what he lacks physically he makes up for with some good old guts and determination

He showed a lot of what I thought Menzie had early days before he developed the fumbles and lost his finish.
Albeit Menzie then started playing a lot higher up field in the Kako role.
Make no mistake, it’s the combined pressure of Kako, Huss and DayWicks which results in the goals. Kako was previously trying to do it all himself, amazing what a balanced forward line does.

Dude, he clearly needs to improve his fitness. He’s young though and has time to get himself fit over the summer.

Feels a steal at pick 53. Really like how his first season has tracked and hope like with Luke Hodge we look back chuckling at him starting his career a bit more heavier set and the puppy fat coming off as he develops.
With May, Robey, Sharp and Farrow also from the 2025 drafts, it wouldnt be outrageous to suggest all 5 of them line up in the best 23 round 1 next season. Exciting.
