#15 Jayden Laverde - π‹π’π―πžπ“›π“ͺ𝓾𝓰𝓱 𝕃𝔸𝕍 (Part 1)

Yep…Isaac Heeney

I see Laverde as our potential home grown line breaking midfield, similar to Dusty. I am wondering whether there is a line breaking mid that we could potentially get for a lot cheaper to allow him a couple more years of development as opposed to spending a fortune on a Dusty like player. Or do we go for a Dusty like player as the last key towards a Premiership contender.

Purely on type rather than quality, I’d say Lav = Fyfe, Lang = Jobe

I think on physical attributes you are right, but I don’t see an inside game with Lav.

Fyfe is an inside beast who can stand up in tackles and take the ball cleanly when there is heat. Though not at the same level, Langford does this as well.

Lav’s go is link up and lead-up in my opinion. He isn’t anywhere near as clean below his knees.

Fyfe has a pretty darn good aerial game too. I can’t recall seeing Lav get off the ground. He is more of a mark out in front of your face Scott Lucas style rather than a Lloyd/Fyfe - float across a pack type.

Laverde = Stringer
Langford = Watson
Begley = Wines
