Had an amazing first 15 minutes or so.
Was trying hard but a pretty typical fade-out unfortunately.
Will never fault his endeavour though.

does not stop trying
Not bad for a young father. No doubt sleepless nights. Sterling effort
Stood up while Draper was struggling. It took the pressure off Draper who then improved in the 2nd half. Exactly why this guy needs to stay in.
When we should have beaten the pies last year the Flip, Draper, 2MP combo was unstoppable.
Play Flip and we seem to go alright.
you can never, ever fault his effort we all know that, but his contest work was next level today
Love the big ginger. Heart and soul player.
He was great today, as usual. I hope the penny’s dropped for the Selectors. When we have the 2-man ruck combination of Draper and Phillips, WE WIN.
never drop this man ever again
Stays
The Grundy slayer
Was good. Miss from 15m out dead in front aside really liked his game. Draper and him worked well in tandem.
Definitely need both rucks for Grundy
Did I imagine that he was thinking of retiring at the end of last year??
I’m glad he didn’t. He has been great so far this season.
He is just so tall that whether he is in front of the ball or behind the ball he looks threatening.
Has gone from a break glass in an emergency type, to a best 22 player
Gives so much around the ground, is the perfect partner for Draper
Gettem Flip. Threatening in the air all game
If he had stuck a few more grabs, nearly BOG.
The Phillips conundrum is he is best first game back after being dropped, but then we drop him we also look worse.
Concerning that we’re relying on him given his age and injury history. Really wish he was 10 years younger.
Thought the same tbh. Does make me wonder if we look at bringing in an ultra-physical state leaguer to replace Phillips when he eventually hangs it up. Don’t think Bryan will ever be that type so wouldn’t mind us plucking one from the SANFL for example.
