A shame because he was pretty decent until the injuries came just like how Peter hasn’t been same since his shoulder injury.

We just are so poor with managing soft tissue issues. Guelf had at least 3 soft tissue injuries last year. I don’t know why we rushed him back for that Brisbane game…

You could say the club are poor at managing injuries or it’s the players dedication off the field.
We normally don’t have more injuries than any other club but we do seem to have the same playerd doing them

A fit Guelfi is a handy footballer for sure but offering an injury-riddled player 2 years was always an unnecessarily risky move.

Weird that he wasn’t mentioned in the injury report last week, although they also didn’t mention Parish either.

I agree with this for 2024. We had our fair share of injuries but nothing outstanding compared to other teams.

The years before that we had more than average.

My concern is the amount of reoccurring issues we had.
Rushing players back then seeing the same injury occurring again and again.

Issue is repeat soft tissue injuries to the same players. There’s 5-6 players who now have chronic soft tissue injury history. And a few of them have long and expensive deals.
