Bread usually gets tougher when it’s stale. He was a welcome bit of freshness.

He does have the perfect wingers build the height, the legs that are thicker than his upper body and of course the endurance. Scott loves blokes that can run a lot and have height.

Mum was pretty excited. How good.

Give him the rising star nom already

Was just about to ask - were there any other standout performances from youngsters this round?

Assuming Murphy Reid already has a nomination?

Nothing surer…AFL marketing dream was Clarke this weekend.

For all the doom and gloom… hopefully 3 rising star noms from the first 11 rounds…

Yep. But let’s see if Braddles keeps playing them. That’s the only obstacle these young guns are going to face.

Hardeman from North his only competition this week

Apart from a good game here and there I would say he was average. And his last 2 seasons were poor.

was told today that clarke is nephew to ex crows ruck Matthew Clarke.

*actually second cousin.

It was mentioned during the TV broadcast.

Soft for 200+ games and a large downhill skiier is how he is known amongst my friends and work colleagues

semi professional triathlete (with sponsors) training in boulder colorado is how i think of him now.

No-one plays AFL footy who is a softcock. Timid players just do not survive over 200 games.

I can remember more times shaking my head at him meekly sticking an arm out than cheering him on for taking one for the team.

And getting to 200 games during the period he did with this club, is more so an indicator of how crap we really have been.
Very different case to achieving it amongst our 80s-90s-00’s days.
Who was going to hold him out? Brayden Ham? Jackson Merrett? Trav Cloyer? The ever injured Davey Myers?

But you obviously view the guy in a very different light, and that’s perfectly fine. If we all saw it the same this forum would be very boring
