189cm is really pushing it as a KPD. I don’t see that ever being a role he can play. He’d have to be an even higher jumper than Caddy and I don’t think he is. Players will keep getting taller.

Really excited about him having a full pre season and gaining a couple kgs of muscle, and getting some confidence too.
His size as a winger is going to be so helpful. Him being able to take marks as a get out kick is going to be invaluable.

Not shy or timid about getting involved. Plays with purpose and heart. There is a lot to like about his game and plenty of scope for him to develop. Has a wide competitive streak that will only get wider. Took the game on and led the way especially early on, got involved often, looks a handy winger to complement Duursma on the other.

Clark starting wing next season for sure. Can play fat side (runs hard to defend) or skinny side (nice kick and is a great mark for his size) or you can roll him forward and he can kick goals too.

One of the proudest moments of the year for me was when Clark, Nguyen and Roberts were all in shot on TV getting stuck in to the Saint Kilda players, it’s reassuring to know that this group of kids won’t be intimidated.

Maybe it’s a sign that Brad Scott’s on field demeanour may actually bleed into his coaching and it’s the young blokes that are taking that philosophy on board. Old dogs and new tricks.
Maybe drawing a long bow but it makes me wonder. I thought this kid had a fantastic game yesterday, was great to see.

showing huge leadership qualities
Don’t know how much the wide angle does and socks vs boots, but he looks significantly taller than Redman here.
There’s a lot to like, but one of my favourite aspects of his game is just how generally aggressive he is. Just a touch of the Maynard’s with but without the extra chromosome.
