When the whole team was woeful on defense, the captain himself doesn’t lay a tackle after 21 CBA’s.
Pretty rough to single him out. A decent coach may even try and use these as coachable moments as opposed to throwing him aside (almost like we’ve seen another silky winger with defensive question marks treated this way).
Either way I’m excited to see Clarke unleash his line breaking boot on the expanses of the MCG wings.

My brief recollection of his footage was that he plays on and keeps the ball in motion almost religiously. Very brave operator with the footy. Really suits the modern game.
Also a wonderful interview on SEN after his drafting. Seemed like a very mature kid.

Saad clearly omitted. Subbed early last week, now they are bringing in another winger.
Cloke did have some strong words to Saad during game. I wonder if there is a team rule thing. Saying that we had the most broken tackles of any team for 2 years… so team rules were broken every minute lol
I haven’t been overly impressed with SEH. He’s nearly 25 and needs to be held to a higher standard than first year teenagers.
Having said that, I’d prefer that Prior was cannoned into the sun for Clarke. Atrocious player for his level of experience.

If SEH doesnt get another contract either should Menzie, Shiel and Prior. I would inclide Jones but the club already signed him

That said, form hasn’t been great this year. I’d be interested to see him get a block of 3-4 games without being sub before completely writing him off though.
