Brissy wanted him, but not enough to spend a main list spot on him. THey would have taken him as a f/s rookie if he had gone undrafted today.

Wait, did he play for Calder Cannons one year and Oakleigh the next?? If so, why? Just as simple as his folks moving house and it being easier to get to training?
I only remember 2 really telling moments in Chris Johnson’s career.

Yeah I think this is being underestimated. We essentially got him on lay-by rehabbing with us and we can use his list spot on a bloke like Townsend or whomever is this year’s Sydney Stack in the supplemental selection period (how we got Zac Clarke). Really creative list management by AD.

I believe so. When the gws guy was crying about him being eligible for our academy, one of the things he said was that they’d moved, so he didn’t even live in our zone any more.
Yeah, ok, that’s pretty good loopholing.
