Didn’t see enough of him tonight to really make a comment.

Will be interested to see how he goes with a few games under his belt.

#823

Ridley was at east Burwood, think that’s why he ended up at oakleigh chargers, not Eastern ranges.

#824

A discouraging game first up. He was played out of his best position.
As a half forward, his positioning and engagement with other team members needs work, for instance presenting in space to receive the ball. 9 disposals is not a problem for a forward. But he was not damaging, except for the great give to Hepp out of a pack. Even though he is an aerobic animal who topped our average speed at 10.2 kmph he was clearly confused about his roles as a forward. Maybe training as a midfielder has something to do with that.

#825

Avoiding stuie Wynd??

#826

Haven’t seen the first half yet, but others have commented he had a run-with on Tim Kelly ??

#827

It was mentioned during the commentary in the first quarter that he was wearing Kelly like a glove.

#828

Keep in but play onball.

#829

‘I loved every minute of it.’ :slightly_smiling_face:

#830

Looked to be playing bona fide mid to me. Saw him in the centre at a fair few bounces.

#831

Great interview.

Looked very excited to get his first game under his belt.

#832

Well spoken young kid. Very strong.

#833

His defensive running was great, thought he would of played more game time. He’ll find enough footy with a few games to build continuity. Will have 25 plus if he stays in the team until the bye.
He’s the exact upcoming player we’re looking for; crash and bash, defensive mid, run with player, shovels it out to our classier players. It would be foolish to not persist with him.

#834

He was the designated negative mid when he went there, not strictly on one bloke but his job was pretty clearly to stop cats getting cheap clearances

#836

You can say that again

#837

Groundhog day?

#838

Fark i hope he doesn’t get dropped for Myers

#839

Myers has photos.

#840

Hope he gets another week or two to see what he needs to improve on.

#841

Myers stalks the halls at Tullamarine threatening every young mid that they’ll be dropped. Appears out of no where. Like some kind of boogey man.
