I had to laugh at the news description of him last night : “mature age recruit” . He’s only just turned 20 years old this month. And is eligible for the Rising Star. Ffs.
i think he’s a bit iffy in the air too. something for him to work on.
but yeah a couple of preseasons in the gym will do him good too. i think we have quite a player on our hands here.

as this season evolves i would not be at all opposed to moving cox to a 3rd tall defender role given his jnr form there. Ridley and lav play as the primary key defenders. Stewart you could move forward or to the vfl. Langford can play as a hybrid fwd/on-baller swapping with stringer. Durham and Martin can be the wingers.
It is very unlikely that he will be afforded the same space as what he got versus Geelong. Let’s watch him for a few weeks before we begin comparing him to the games all time greats.
