#38 - Rhys Unwin

So that’s all you saw of him tonight so far?

Running too fast a couple of times, reckon he will get the tempo after a few games.

Watched the warm up and he was comfortably the best passer in those few minutes in the forwards group. I think the one from distance he was thinking too far out and the other one was moving too fast.

We’ll focus on that for the next 2 years and coach all the good stuff out of him

Bottom line … He is smart like Kako & Roberts. We need players like this. What a relief to offload DUDORO !!!

Definitely some good signs tonight. Has some pace and really good hands under pressure.

A small forward with pace and a nice side step?

He’s my sort of player.

I have no idea what you’re talking about…

Certainly showed a bit, was happy to sit under a high ball too which is a good sign

Country footballers are just reliably tougher than their metro counter parts, especially when outsized.

This 2024 draft batch of ours look almost cocky/ smart ass/ confident which is exactly what we need. He looks almost the most cocky. Good debut!

Yeah, reminds me of Rhys Magin!

He’s a keeper

Still not sure on him but he showed more last night than I’d seen all year in the 2s.

Well done son. Those two side steps came outta nowhere.

Don’t love his kicking, FWIW, and it looked as much technical as it did nerves IMO

Some horrific kicks, but those side steps and pace were very promising plus got into some good positions for a first gamer. Definitley plays the rest of the year, and already showed more than Day-Wicks.

I can’t wait for next year, with the young blokes showing a bit.

I can’t wait for the Essington de-development department to ruin all of these kids.

Why even say that?
