When he gets the ball in traffic hes got some nice moves.
He shows glimpses of a far greater talent, he just doesn’t involved enough.
Definitely worth persisting to see if there is more.

This is the Rhys Unwin experience.
Quite difficult to evaluate from a list management perspective.
Would be interesting to see how he’d be going if it wasn’t for the injury earlier this season. There’s definitely some good stuff to work with, and bearing in mind how many others could/should be off the list, I’d like to see Unwin get another year.

Had some nice touches. You can tell he has something. What it is I’m not sure. Needs to play the rest of the season so a call can be made.

I love his manic pressure. He never stops chasing or harassing
He stays in for the rest of the year
He is like a skinnier version of Day Wicks.
He is also very clean below his knees and doesn’t go to ground easily

Just to be clear it was in terms of the roles they would play like how Puopolo would do a lot of the defensive work for Cyril.
It’s like how people refer to players who play the Kane lambert role. Where Kane lambert would take Dusty’s man around the ground defensivelY so Dusty could just be an offensive beast.
Seems to me that he is the anti-Tsatas.
Tsatas gets it a lot but is ineffective in using it and has little to no defensive intensity.
I think I prefer the Unwin version. You hope he might get better at getting the ball, but you like pretty much everything else.
Nguyen is a Cat B rookie. There should be no question of keeping him as he doesn’t even use a normal list spot.

The Nguyen thing extremely fake. A random insta page started posting a few days earlier. They’d mix in current actual trade rumours and re signing announcements but then every 4th-5th were extremely random trades.
All had random as comments on them like ai generated summaries about asking for trades. They had one of parish going to port Adelaide but can only hope that one is real.

Let them offer up a trade. See what he’s worth. He is currently not best 23. We can always delist him and redraft through the Rookie draft
For a guy with a year left to delist him would be a awful idea as that would make them a delisted free agent for the rest of their career

Kinda reminds me of the first game or two that ORAZIO played. Only touched it maybe three times each games but just had a little bit of poise

There is certainly a bit of Orazio about the way he moves.
Unfortunately so far, there doesn’t seem to be much Orazio about the way he kicks the footy.

It’s almost like he pauses when he kicks, hence no penetration.
One thing he done well is pressure and some of his tackling has been awesome so far.
