Going by tonight, if a kid who has only been playing Aussie Rules for 1 year can cut it with experienced VFL level ruckmen, the sky is the farking limit!
When did he start full training? Two weeks ago?
He played out the whole game and sounds like he more than held his own.
For the other players it is only VFL level. For Sam it is farking VFL Level!!!
He has no right to be even looking promising at this point in time.

Seriously, he’s 18 years old with one year of footy experience, 105kg, shows solid ruck technique, moves well, shepherds, gets the ball when not rucking… very happy here!
