I’m now convinced he can be a midfielder. I put my hand up, I was wrong 100%

Edit - everything I was critical of him about, he’s rectified imo. Good player development

I am with you on that, I also said he wasn’t going to make it and i was 100% wrong. I am always happy to be wrong when this happens.

Hey @ivan, I remember you posting in this thread at one point “this is the McKenna thread all over again. You’re all wrong”.

Was that early this year or late last year?

July last year

Staggering how impatient many were with a player who is only 21.

To think he is only 18mths into a midfielders apprenticeship and this is what he is starting to produce.

Good lesson in patience.

Imagine him at 24…

@Nocturnal, June last year.

EDIT: Damn, Nocturnal was later in June, the July claim above was a lie.

And yet those calling for patience on Langford are saying that Parish is regressing and is too vanilla, yet he is younger.

Parish will be a Good player.

If he can tidy his kicking he’ll be more than a good player.

Also once he is a full time mid he will bloom. Developing other roles skills is important and takes time. Just like KANG

Parish won’t be half the player of Langford.

He can still play a role though and there is nothing wrong with that.

Huh?

Im starting to believe Langers might be very special.

Your comparison was also in June, not July, and earlier than Nocturnal’s.

Don’t go blowing your load too early mate
