The players are upbeat today. Can still technically make finals but knows we probably wont, It’s great to still be in the conversation for finals.

This is … weird. Because certainly I, and I think most Blitzers, would say that the main reason we lost SO badly to GWS was player effort. Whether that comes from attitude, tiredness, whatever is uncertain from the side lines. But whatever the cause, the idea the players are upbeat is seriously concerning.
The only reason to be upbeat was if you went out planning on getting hammered, or if you’re a bunch of complete idiots.
