#40 - Zak Johnson

Played with Caddy and Kako in their school footy team apparently.

Works for me.

Is one of Caddy’s best mates

Will need to work on his contested stuff and defensive game if he wants to claim a spot in the backline or midfield otherwise he’ll be limited to the wing.

Geez how stoked will this guy be tonight.

2nd last player picked and he gets picked on a team he already has mates at.

Well done young man. Looking forward to seeing what he can become

To me looks like he moves like Sicily.
Looks like he has huge potential.

And we found him at pick #70 !
I like his tendency to take a second and analyse options upfield. And then ping a decent kick / pass. Bit of how our captain sizes things up.

He could be our diamond in the rough from this draft … although the talent on show in this draft across the board has been exceptional

Jeez, I hope that team won the flag…

here’s hoping he can be even half as good as a previous number 79 pick

His “neat” kicking style reminds me of someone. I’m a bit annoyed that I cant think of who. Once he punches those short passes a bit harder he’ll be ok.

It’s also the Man City player factory, they have their Melbourne academy based there.

I had no idea we had picked this guy up, until this morning.

I tapped out after Unwin.

But looks a very self-assured player. Doesn’t get pressured when he has the ball in his hands, takes every second to find the right option.
