Happy to see another debutant. I’ll set my expectations low and hope he gets a decent run in the seniors to find his form. I hope Shiel is dropped. He deserves to be quite frankly but I won’t hold my breath!
Didn’t this guy kick 4 goals im a half of footy at VFL late last year, bring him in and play him forward.

Excellent news. He has the tools to add something to our senior side, no matter how he played last week, he may hit the ground running in the side. Hopefully it is at the cost of Shiel at HBF. And hopefully he shows enough to remain in the side all year.

He actually played wing that day - and was hurt his ankle badly taking a great mark to kick his fifth goal but was clearly under duress when he kicked and duly missed. I watched the whole game that day. He was clearly BoG.

Sounds like we have a goal kicking winger , bring.
No more Shiel at Half Back or anywhere else automatically at least. He is depth at best but should be behind Roberts & SEH and Johnson & Day - Wicks imo.
Truth is Shiel at half back has been a giant failure and a significant factor in bringing us into this horrible current state of depression.
SEH can play there, whilst he might not been as quick as Shiel he is a genuinely good kick, has excellent pace, can take a mark and win his own ball.
The Debut of SEH is loooooong over due imo.

i agree.
he got burnt in the VFL 2 or 3 times in the first half last week where VFL / top-up players didn’t pass when he was in a much better position. Whether they didn’t see the opportunity or too much self-interest to do the team thing I am not sure… but there were quite a few times… he was getting very frustrated as well… good luck to him… he has the speed and the foot-skills we need to see at AFL level
