The good thing is the “will he, won’t he?” is removed from the situation. He’s back, and it’s now on him to get himself into great shape (haven’t seen any recent picks so got no idea how he’s looking in comparison to last year) and push to play in the AFL again. Ability is not the issue. Based on last year he’s probably got to drop 10kgs, conservatively, to be in a position to do so. If he does get back to playing, and back to the Walla of old, it will be some achievement!
WANGANEEN
MUNKARA

DAVEY
OH BABY
Small forward stocks suddenly looking a lot better.
A few years ago now, but this is what he looked like when younger. Older players do need to reduce the stress on their body through kg reduction, even if he was an extremely durable player.
I’ve heard from a sports scientist that every year after 30 you need to drop 1 kg, if you’re playing elite sport, to help your body recover and also make it easier to move as you get older.
this was a good post
Walla’s long range kicking skills inside 50 are nothing short of elite. Those 50m+ passes at pinpoint accuracy to advantage while at full speed. Does anyone else do it better?
So happy
Me in the office right now

100% the reason we delisted Gleeson and Ham. Reid could be in trouble too.
