Weird thing about this news is that I’ve been so desensitised to football joy since the saga. I mean I kinda still enjoy the odd highlight- but this news has genuinely lifted me.

It’s great news. Hopefully he has his life sorted out. Hopefully he can get his fitness to where it needs to be.
Given the changes that have taken place at the club I would feel that he should have all the support he needs. He had a whole year out and that shouldn’t be underestimated.

This has been suggested by a few people, but everything I’ve heard and read on Walla does not support it. Perhaps someone who actually knows for certain will clear it up one day.
