#43 Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti - WALLA MACCA TIPPA - till 2022

I have a mate that works at Argyle and he’s always complaining about how hot it is :grinning:

Spectacular countryside though.

Yep Kimberley > than Kakadu & that’s from someone who lived in the Top End 14 years

been watching a few replays to get my essendon fix and have to say Tippa’s off ball work is Rioli’esque, born footballer, loves a bump.

Another Walla highlights video from the 'tubes, just because.

For those at the round 20 game against the Blues when Stewart and Walla combined to edge in front the feeling of expectation leading up to it and then the relief when he kicked it was exhilarating. Probably the biggest roar I have experienced at a bomber game for some time.

Walla has that ability to create a buzz around the ground that I don’t even think Joe has.

I’ve only been going to the footy every week for a quarter of a century or so, so I haven’t seen another player as universally loved as TIPPA.

Yeah, I feel kinda smug.

That kick from Parish at 2.00

Agree. That kick from Darcy is pretty close to my highlight of the season, never get sick of watching it.

It was even more impressive watching him execute it live.

It’s exciting to see the club starting to develop a midfield with young guns that can use the ball cleanly by foot.

TIPPA is already such a fan favourite. Great highlights. Can’t wait for footy to be back

With that Parish kick you see the benefit of him being placed into an outside mid role to learn, able to push into space to provide options. Then magnificent centering ball.

Watching all the highlights from some of the wins last year on the Essendon website, you really see how important this guy is to the team.

He was everywhere in all of the videos and when he is on, it is no surprise that we bury teams because he is just that type of player.

He has that ability that only very few players have had over the past couple of decades IMO Cyril, Buddy, Voss, Hird, Swan, Ablett, Dangerfield etc all players who can/could win a game by themselves through moments of brilliance.

This guy has that ability, I haven’t seen a more clean and skilled player pull on the red and black in my lifetime IMO.

You must have missed Ty Zantuck.

He was amazing <…>

Another 6 years of Walla brilliance before he turns 30 and who’s to say he can’t play for another 4 (at least) after that. As previously stated, he’s a match winner and when on Essendon usually win. Lots of talent on the list atm. Exciting times ahead.

The highlights from the geelong game up on btv ATM is the walla show

Parish had always done it. A brief stint as a hff didn’t do ■■■■.

I’m not religious but Tippa is almost like a gift from the gods… Brings people to the footy. To think that that it was only a couple of seasons ago that we were screaming out for small forwards! In Tippa and Fantasia we now have a lethal combo!
