#44 - Archer Day Wicks

So happy his career is working out. Was stoked when he was drafted and last year didnt make sense to me as I really wanted him to be better. Now he’s just showing so much its great to see.

Love the way he goes about it. Tough and keeps trying even if he does go missing at times. Watched him live twice this year and noticed some nice sheppards and bumps and niggle off the ball. That he pops up for a couple of goals is a real win. Keep

I was going to post yesterday Day Wicks hasn’t done anything since Anzac Day, then he pulled out a quality game. I like forwards that can snap off both feet.

He’s got the power

Quickly becoming one of my favourites. Could become one of our real heart and soul players, if not already. A cult hero perhaps.

To me, the most impressive thing is that he showed some talent in glimpses last year but it just appears that he realized very quickly that that wouldn’t be enough and just worked his arse off to get fitter and better we need that to become the norm.

he’s trying 1 X speccy a game .

Reminds me of Shane Heard.

it’s a hard position to stay involved in the game hff but when he gets the chance he needs to take it, get the fumbles out of his game and he’ll get to the next level. One thing I don’t like though is the boofy hairstyle, needs an army style buzz cut.

He looks like Shane Heard with those eyes set a little too close together like a bird of prey.

Kind of ruggedly, ugly, handsome.

Has a certain something about the way he goes about his play, something that is not easily defined but is attractive. He is going to be a very good player, small but can play tall and willing to take risks on.

Edit: on track to becoming what we hoped Menzie would be, but with the added dimension of an aerial threat.
