Ex-#44 Shaun McKernan

Smack is more agile.

Smack will kick 4 goals tonight and we’ll win by 30 plus. You heard it here first. Top 4 here we come. Lid off!!!

Goals or points?

As soft as butter

We should have played him tonight, we are missing another key forward to take the pressure off Joe.

Stick a fork in him.

Zero intensity

Leading goal scorer

Felt he got us back in it and got better as the game went on

He’ll only ever be a VFL grade player

Shocking first half of football, but did ok in the second half.
I don’t know what to make of him.
Maybe it’s a bit hard to play 6 weeks of seconds and just walk into the seniors and perform at the higher level. Does he need a couple of games at it to adjust, or is that it for him?
Realistically he will be replaced by Hooker next week.

Interesting character, Either manic intensity or FA. There’s a decent AFL footballer inside him, but we probably need Freud to extract him.

Does not try hard enough.

Grundy is a good average player, but Smack just let him dominate.

Tradebait 2nd round to Richmond. Can you trade a rookie?

delivered about the same as Stewart, while playing on a better defender.

He was ok-ish. Probably the best key forward on the ground.

He certainly wasn’t the Lone Ranger when it comes to not being able to get into it in the 1st half, . but worked his way up tp speed and into it.

There were far more players worthy of criticism than SMcK & Lang tonight, being they came up from the ressies and straight into the manic maelstrom that was the 1st half of that game.

Jenkins says hi

though they have to be upgraded onto the main list\

Both Reid and McKernan kicked 2 goals but their respective opponents Hurley and Grundy had big games.

Parish should have played with Langford as the third tall.

Why are we all assuming he won’t be maintained as a rookie?

He is a good backup in that he can play ruck (in and emerg) or forward, Draper is still a bit away. He costs bugger all and keeps a main list spot open.

Im sure he is well aware of his position, but for him it prolongs his career as a player where he will earn more than he would in the real world.

He kicked as many goals as Buddy, JoeDan and Reid combined!
