The Bombers have moved quickly to secure Waterman’s services after his mum revealed he’d attracted interest from rival AFL clubs.

Well the last footballer to overcome chronic fatigue syndrome was Alastair lynch and he did ok. Having experienced the disease first hand he is an inspiration making it back.

Ha, I remember digitising all these early eighties videos and going “whoa, who is this guy? He’s awesome!”… and then he disappeared.

Waterman appears to building for last 2 years rather than “one match wonder”. He has great strength in those legs, hence the accuracy when kicking from 50m.
