Love this!!
I still don’t understand why we didn’t give him another year.
Because he walked out on us. It’s the most logical answer.
WSPHU
Munkara: Lest we forget
It doesn’t happen to be true, though.
Do we still have an SSP spot?
Nor is it logical. He walks out on us to play at Warragul!?
@trotters inside word posted not that far back in this thread explains the scenario
Seems he simply needed to mature and grow in other areas of his life firstly
Even if he had wanted to stay not ready for elite level sport or even a tier or two below that yet.
wow you’ve really taken over from icetemple as the biggest sanctimonious self appointed defender of everything essendon does.
I’m curious if you can actually identify anything the club does wrong, or any bad call they do make ?
or is it all just rose coloured glasses and they can do no wrong at all.
because like it or not, if everything you say to the above was true, why exactly did employees of the efc pick a kid that was so far off it in every facet and had no ability to fix it within one year, why is that good decision making to begin with ?
were there not questions over his fitness to begin with ?
were there not questions about his ability to adapt to the afl lifestyle ?
were there not questions about his professionalism ?
you don’t just get the right, after the fact to say oh this kid didn’t meet the criteria so good job essendon people.
those same essendon people picked a kid that was never going to be able to fix those issues IN ONE YEAR. it shows poor decision making skills something they have a long history of doing, and just cos you bury your head so far in the sand you come up in asia, it doesn’t mean they do no wrong or don’t get anything wrong.
Exactly right DKP, you can’t have it both ways!
It’s either horrible scouting and drafting to truly understand his flaws, or weak as water commitment to the young man and helping to teach and develop him.
One way or the other we as a club have failed.
So much ranting, with so little basis in reality.
