What a player this guy has turned into. Often Walla and Raz’s development is mentioned in the same breath as 2016 but the game time this guy got was just as valuable. Makes something happen nearly every time he touches the ball. He, Saad, Redman, Gleeson and Ambrose will be the defensive cornerstones for the next 4-5 years. Very exciting.
Brilliant
Very true! Add in Zerk and Big Red and we are looking very sound.
Just remember he barely trained all pre-season. Took a bit of time to hit top form.
Unbelievably talented player. I reckon he’s the type who would be a freak at any sport.
Nice article from his homeland!!
Finals in the GAA at the moment and his home county’s playing, wonder if he’s been watching. He certainly seems to have upped the weird Irish trick count over the last couple of weeks.
Why can’t our footy journos write like that ???
Clever.
Just need to get rid of that fkn magpie behind Connor!
It’s a pity that a goal didnt come off from that bit of McKenna magic, that would have been goal assist of the year.
Connor’s nickname should be Wiz - short for wizard because some of the things he does are magic. Including those little kicks to himself. Great game Connor.
The pre-game huddle rev-up would be a hoot.
Why can’t our footy journos write like that ???
Coz theyre sh#t
45 years!
Let’s not forget that as well as being lightning fast and having a box of magic tricks, he’s also a parking solid unit. 184 cm and 88 kg. If that hits you, especially at the speed he runs, you stay hit. And anyone who tries to stop him when he’s on the move needs to be very, very strong to hold on.
What a player.

Love this:
"Coming down the right flank, the half back saw poor Lachlan Murphy charging in and he set him up devastatingly for a trip to the shops.
Adelaide’s Murphy attempts to block McKenna’s wound-up right boot only for the oval ball to disappear, back in the clutches of the cheeky Tyrone man, who rounds him and picks out a pass as Murphy is left with a shopping list and shaken ankle."
Nice article from his homeland!!
Conor may introduce a new term into our sport “he sent him for a battered sausage!”
