#45 Conor McKenna - the first six years

So this is from the start of @CJohns report:

so you’d think the light skills drills early would have been split into the groups of 8, so at most the only players at risk would be his group?

Seriously dude.

I wonder what those guys are doing right now?

It’s there so they don’t have to fine a team for not listing enough emergencies… mind you, it’s weird logic given the only thing that actually matters to the game itself is having 22.

This feels so eerily like the Saga. It’s actually a little triggering.

It’s in the fine text.

  • If Essendon screw up the competition again, we will make up some bullshit rule that will screw them over.

And the AFL reduces quarters to 16 mins to account for the likelihood that games will have to be compressed to deal with the reality of players/club staff testing positive. But Essendon loses its entire backline and the show rolls on?

Couldn’t make it up.

If the 2 hour rule is the only thing they are factoring… then well … it’s no wonder these clusters are back.

Bringing our players back together within the 14 days and putting them at further risk of contacting the virus would be unwise.

Couldn’t agree more

Its a bit like the 5 second rule.

If we lose the A-team backline so be it. All the clubs would have been well aware of the situation of one of the players in separated groups got COVID.

Just deal with it for the week with who we have to play as B-team which will still be serviceable and move on.

Still have 22 out there having a crack.

We actually beat the Blues with our top ups team in 2016. What we’d put out next week would be far stronger even with a depleted backline.

That’s what the Eagles & Dockers have to go through after their QLD hub, iso in a hotel for 2 weeks.
AFL is suppose to be professional league. How does a team maintain peak fitness in a hotel room? I believe Daisy Pearce may only have a few of these…www.rossfaulkner.com.
1 touch ball ultimate training aid.

This is the best case scenario for us.

Couldn’t see in the case that the whole team is shut down that they come out of two weeks quarantine and use start playing again. They might need a week of training before their first game.

Interested to know what Mckenna was up to in his spare time.

FMD

two weeks without how many players.

Too bad iff all ruckmen are crook

2 bad if most of the talls are crook.

To bad if anyone who specialises in one position, which i dare say is the majority, is crook and unavailable.

Ive got a flying rat to kill, and i need to clean my claws.

You just know if this was Collingwood Eddie would be screaming from the roof tops to make sure they play with a full squad but not Essendon we will just bend over and cop it.

Hey AFL, they were together for 1 hour and 59 minutes so we’re good to go, cheers! :+1:
