good little clip, has a bit of toe!

He tucks his jumper in
Old school, I like it. But does he pull his socks up?

Was the goal up waving in a plane?

This young fella will be a bit of a cult figure in the VFL this year. I want to see him play while he still has that ball drop. Fingers crossed he can keep it for the first couple of games.

Not another eventful cab ride in the off-season I hope...

Don't think it's bandaged, just got the sleeves on a long sleeve jersey rolled up I think..?

Can someone give that photo the Gumby treatment - a little extra elevation?

If that's the start of his ball drop then yeah, must be a freaking hilarious kicking action.

Is kicking over his head to the goals behind him.

Clever.

Can kick,

Can mark,

Can jump,

Can run,

Now you have earned one of these on me.

Just dont get homesick

Looks like you might have a future here !.

I think his placing in the time trial proves that he is going in hard and trying to prove himself, which is only going to make him better! Great attribute to have for the young fella. If he keeps pushing himself, he will kill it. Pretty sure we have got ourselves a little bargain here…

It will be a great find if McKenna is strong overhead. This is one feature of the game in which Irish players usually struggle.

But he'll main teammates with his kicking though... so whats the point if he can take a grab....

Looks ok but that video didn't show any physical contact. That's where the Irish imports seem to struggle, initially at least. Anybody know how he goes with that? It'll be interesting to see how he goes in the wind with those high loopy kicks. Maybe get Myers or Hurley to have a chat with him about his kicking, see if he can get a bit more penetration. Too early for the bandwagon just yet but hope he makes it. Seems like a nice kid.

I dont imagine he will get a lot of contact, as a lot of the irish have a good sidestep. And he dominated the testing in agility, so is pretty good with sideways movement.
